Just a couple more days until the big move. Decided that now may be a good time to start that blog I've been telling everyone about!
So, I started packing yesterday little by little. Seems like my suitcases will be completely full. Not as much wiggle room as I'd like, but hey, there's always shipping! That and friends/family that will be visiting can always help me out, right? :)
I've been taking care of all the last minute things, from getting my hair done to buying a travel lint roller for all the dog hair that will sneak away into my luggage. Seems like hair is on my mind? Hmm.. I've also been trying to figure out my insurance and banking and all those lovely little annoying details.
Turns out that snow is coming.. right when spring is around the corner and I am to fly those white flakes decide to show their face. I guess I can't really complain, but I will anyway: REALLY?! The days that I desperately needed weather to cooperate Mother Nature decides to play a practical joke?! Arg...
Everyone keeps asking me how I feel. Are you excited? nervous? anxious? worried? I understand that those are normal things to ask because they are normal things to feel, but is it so strange that I don't feel any of those? I mean, I am sure these emotions will flood in all at once right when I arrive in Belgium, but in all honesty, my mind is numb to any of the ordinary feelings for situations like this... for now. Ask me again once I have been in Belgium for a week or so.
